Our training sessions are designed to give participants the knowledge and confidence to recognise cardiac arrest, call for help, perform effective CPR, and safely use an Automated External Defibrillator (AED). Through hands-on practice with training manikins and AED trainers, attendees gain valuable experience in responding during those critical first moments before emergency services arrive.

Our training can cover:

• Recognising the signs of cardiac arrest

• Calling 111 and activating emergency response

• Adult CPR techniques

• Child and infant CPR (on request)

• Safe and effective use of an AED

• The importance of early defibrillation

• Building confidence to respond in an emergency

Important Information

Our CPR and AED awareness sessions are intended to provide practical lifesaving knowledge and confidence; however, they are not a replacement for a comprehensive first aid course or formal first aid certification.

Participants should understand that cardiac arrest outcomes depend on many factors, and while early CPR and AED use can significantly improve survival chances, no training or intervention can guarantee survival or a successful medical outcome.

We encourage individuals and organisations requiring broader medical emergency training to also undertake a full first aid course through an accredited training provider.
